I’ll be the first to admit – even though I’m not a big football fan, Super Bowl Sunday is still a must. This year, instead of the usual bag o’ chips and beer on the couch, I classed it up and went all out to the Hudson Terrace Super Bowl rooftop party hosted by NY Giants' Justin Tuck.

J. Cole Headlines Don Julio Tequila Super Bowl XLVIII Weekend Celebration at Liquid Cellar
By: Finance Foodie
Last Friday night, I attended Don Julio Tequila's exclusive afterhours event celebrating Don Julio 1942 to kick off Super Bowl weekend. Music was curated throughout the night by superstars DJ Ruckus and DJ Politik and the "black tie - your way" attired guests sipped on specialty Don Julio cocktails.

Getting Wet and Wild with Poconos' Whitewater Challengers
By: Finance Foodie
This past Labor Day, I resolved to take it easy. After almost a month of "Pre-Term"grad school life in Philly (Pre-Term=staying out late, drinking like a fish, and generally not going to class), I knew I need some time to decompress and sober up. However, just one day of relaxation left me as bored as a fatso at a salad bar, so I decided spice things up a bit and go whitewater rafting on the Lehigh River in Poconos, PA (aka the must visit outdoors adventure destination two hours outside of Philly). It had been a few months since my last rafting trip, so I was totally itching to get back into the waters and shoot some waves (or if I fell out the raft, I figure I'd practice my doggie paddle skills and take a swim). Plus, I was going with 30 plus of my super fun fellow grad school classmates, and I thought this would be a great way to bond with them without sacrificing the health of my liver.

A Suite Life! Boston Celtics vs. Portland Trailblazers
By: Finance Foodie
The Boston Celtics 99-95 win against the Portland Trailblazers on Wednesday night marks the team's fifth straight victory -- let's go Celtics! It was a seat gripping game -- Portland was in the lead for the first half before the Green brought out the big guns for the win (to the home court crowd's delight!).

Tiger at the 16: Deutsche Bank Golf Championship
By: Finance Foodie
Last Friday, I had the chance to watch PGA pros play live when the Bermuda Tourism Board invited me to attend the 1st round of the Deutsche Bank Golf Championship. Now to be honest, when it comes to golf (and thankfully, my personal life), I am no Tiger Woods. In fact, I still cringe remembering the time I dinged my golf instructor’s shiny new BMW when my flyaway shot zinged sideways off the driving range and into the parking lot. So even though I don’t play or follow golf religiously, I’ve watched enough games to know the major players. Therefore, I was uber excited to see Woods, as well as some of my other favorites (Mickelson, Furyk) live in action!
