Champagne and Caroling at the Gansevoort Hotel with the Broadway Dolls - Black Tie Style!

By: Anne M. Raso

Wow! The Champagne And Caroling black tie event at Winston's Champagne Bar in the Gansevoort Hotel  was one of our final parties of the holiday season and one of the most elegant. Broadway luminaries, executives from Bernstein Global Wealth Management (who presented the event to benefit the Broadway Dreams Foundation) and just regular folks who like a good party put on their tuxes and best evening gowns and grooved to holiday sounds as provided by the Broadway Dolls! Guests danced cheek to cheek "old school style" and here was not a single holiday "standards" missed by the Broadway Dolls. The five member "girl group" took requests as well.

It was an intimate event for only 75 select guests, and many of the Broadway Dolls brought along their famous friends from the Great White Way. Formed in 2007 and created by Hollie Howard who appeared opposite Reba McIntyre in "Annie get Your Gun.", the Broadway Dolls have individually appeared he Broadway companies of “Mamma Mia”, “Chicago”, “Spiderman: Turn off the Dark”, “Rock of Ages”, “Memphis”, “Jersey Boys”, “Million Dollar Quarter”, “Rent”, “Hairspray”, “Annie Get Your Gun”, “Legally Blonde”, “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang”, “Grease”, “The Wedding Singer”, “A Chorus Line” , “Good Vibrations”, “Jekyll & Hyde”, “Spamalot”, “Wonderland”, and more.
No other entertainment company in the theatrical community boasts such an accomplished and diverse team of working actresses. The Dolls often appear on cruise ships, fundraisers and private parties and excel at coming up with unique themes for their sets (we hear that there 60s girl group set is "da bomb"). Guests enjoyed some of the finer vintages provided by Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte along with insanely decadent desserts provided by Lady M Confections. The unforgettable hors d'oeuvres were provided by Winston's itself. The Broadway Dreams Foundation helps youths get singing and dancing training, as well as helping them get their foot in the door to a career on Broadway. We'll be back again next year for caroling, champagne and decadent desserts!
